i'm pretty excited about the trip, but it seems like june is so far away. i dont know yet about ibiza, some friends of mine want to go there, but i guess it depends on how much cash i have left at the end of the trip( our exchange rate is not nearly as good as yours). i see a lot of australians on this site, looks like your a travelling nation?

I just booked the trip today!  Im absolutly stoked! Im an Aussie but ive been been inthe UK for 18 months and this is pretty much my first chance to travel!  Does anyone have any plans for what they are doing after?  I dont know whether to book flights the same day as the tour finishes or not?  Any one have any suggestions? 

If anyone is going to be in the UK around london before and wants to meet for a drink let me know

Hello....

My friend Anthony and I are also booked on this trip and we are also from Australia....

We've booked an extra two nights at the Contiki's Barcelona Hotel when the tour ends so we can do our own exploring in Barcelona and then we fly over to Ibiza for 4 nights after that...Hopefully there will be some people on the tour that want to party on in Ibiza as well !!

We will be in London from the 11-14th of June so we might be able to catch up with you for a drink !!

I've got an extra day in Barcelona, & two before in Amsterdam...so any hints on what to do that the tour doesn't, would be soooo appreciated.

so i was wondering

what are your guys and gals' reasons for going on this tour. you just happen to have some cash lying around? or maybe you wanna see the world and experience some different cultures? are you just out to have a big party and casual sex with foreigners? I'm not a freak or anything, and i'm not really expecting any honest anwers on these, but i cant help wondering why you guys from the first world would ever wanna leave your cosy countries?

I guess i'm going to see what country i want to live in when i leave this one. trust me on this, its not great to be the minority race in your country.

Yes, me and my main squeeze booked the tour for June. We've never been to Europe but we are sure looking forward to it. We are based out of Orlando Florida, I'm from New York and he's from Puerto Rico...I have a brother that live in Rota Spain so after the tour we are flying down to South of Spain and stay with him for a week. We did alot of research and they say Contiki is one of the best Tour Companies....WE SHALL SEE! Anyhow, excited about it all and meeting everybody. YEAH!!!!!

cool name by the way. is it puerto ricon? I ask because its a name that comes up sometimes in my home language, which is alot like dutch. Anyway, glad ta meet ya. I was hoping there was gonna be someone from the states on this tour. Aside from the fact that your presidents are always blowing up somebody, I really like your country. It seems like a fun place to live and work. When are you guys flying to amsterdam? I'm flying in exactly a month from today and I gotta say I'm really starting to feel the excitement. Wow!  I cant believe it is just over a month before we actually start this tour!  Im desperatly trying to save money at the moment! 
So do you fly in on the 21st??  I arrive around lunch time on the 23rd so if anyone is up for meeting that day before we all meet at 6pm let me know.  Ive been to amsterdam before and wouldnt mind catching up with some people to have a wander around before everything gets started.

I received all my travel documents today and was talking to the lady at the agency, who told me that this tour is fully booked. Apparently we'll be 49 people on this trip! I had no idea it was so many. Its cool, but its makes me feel like a bit of a tit for posting so many messages. Where are all these other people I wonder? I'll be arriving at the hotel more or less the same time as you vanessa, so It'll be fun if ya wanna hang out before this thing starts.
