I am coming into Amsterdam a day early-want to make sure I have enough time to see the Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum, and Anne Frank house among many other sights. I would like to have added extra days in Barcelona, but am limited to the amount of time I can take off at one time from work.

So when do you begin your trip? I am assuming that the hotels are the same as when I was supposed to go in may(have not gotten new documents yet). If they are I liked the idea of the jail hotel in lucerne. It looked neat. Also the hotel in Chamonix looked like it was really nice with nice views.

I am planning a trip to Italy in Fall 2007 with my mom. I would be very interested to hear about your experiences. Since I love art Italy is one of my top places I want to see.

I was in London for 5 days last year and had a fantastic time(on the Contiki London and Paris getaway).

Hi

Where are you in the u.s.? I don't have my exact flight deetails yet, but i am flying from cicago to london, then london to Amsterdam. Not sure about my arrival time.

There were flight issues that ruined my trip in may. By the time they woul dhave gotten me to Amsterdam I would have missed everything and it is one of the main reasons that I chose this tour. I believe that this departure is guarunteed since it is the last departure for this tour for the yeear.

Hi I begin in London on the 30th Sept where Im spending 5 days catching up with all my friends who live there and then on my Contiki round Italy from the 4th to the 15th - Im fling to Eindhoven and getting a bus to Amsterdam and doing the public transport thing to the hotel - hoping I dont get lost! If all else fails I can always get a taxi. Ill probably not get to the hotl til around 5ish so will meet up at dinner.
I have my travel documents and I think it is all the same hotels as you had before because the Jail hotel is listed there.

Hi there. I'm arriving 1 day early as well. If any of you are interested in getting together to explore some of the local culture, or renting a bike to explore the city, let me know.

Also, I'm staying at the Hotel Pulitzer for that extra day and have a bed for an extra person at no additional cost if anyone is interested. The hotel is located on a canal near the old city center of Amsterdam, and is not really a 'normal' hotel, as it actually consists of several 17th and 18th century canal houses put together. Email me for details.
