Awsome! I'm so glad to read that there will be others that are traveling alone. It actually makes me feel a bit relieved. I am coming from Connecticut. Are any of you doing the triple share?
I think they have me down as the twin share. This is my first Contiki trip . .first trip to Europe too, so I just let them sign me up however. I cannot believe we are leaving next week . .I'm so ready!
I know! I signed up for this trip in late June and I cannot believe we leave next week. Wow! I have been to Europe a couple of times, but never on a Contiki tour. So this should be interesting! Funny question- are you packing a beach towel? I saw on the suggested packing list that we need one, and know that we're going to the beach in Nice, but packing a towel really bulks up my luggage... What do you think?
No a beach towel takes up WAY too much room. I will just yank one from the hotel or air/sun dry. I'm not packing a towel when that could be room for all of my other girlie crap I have to lug around. Plus we will be on the beach 1 maybe 2 days.
hi everyone! Im from Australia. Glad to see there are a few solo travellers in this group! I will also be by myself - having spent the last 6 weeks travelling around with friends.(they have ditched me now haha) Im in a triple share room also so may be sharing with you!
Dont be nervous about travelling by yourself. I did a contiki tour in 2006 and although i was with friends, there were heaps of solo travellers - we all became good friends in the end anyway. I look forward to meeting you all :-)

I get in at 10:30am on Friday. I guess someone is just picking us up from the airport . .or do we get a shuttle from the airport to the hotel? Is it Thursday yet? ;-)
I get in at 1030am on Friday as well! Is your flight to Amsterdam coming from a connection in Paris? Are you taking Air France?
There is a shuttle that we need to take from the airport to the hotel. It is called the Ibis Schiphol shuttle bus and apparently there are signs leading the way to it. I think the other option is to take a taxi to the hotel- which would cost 30 to 40 Euro (eek!). Can't wait!!!!

My connecting flight is actually from Ohio. Would love to do some sight seeing as well in the afternoon. When I get in to the hotel I will try to leave a note for each of you under your name/Contiki, I will leave my room number - come grab me if you decide to do some sight-seeing.
