Has anyone booked for this?

I'm considering doing this tour as well. It will be my first trip to Europe and by myself!  Does anyone have any idea what the accommodations will be like? Are the bathroom facilities private? Are the sleeping facilities in a tent or dorm-like accommodations?

From what I understand and from what I have heard, the accommodations are basically a place to sleep and bathroom facilities. The bathroom is private but you share it with other people, in other words, you can only go in one at a time but someone will have used the same bathroom before and after you. Most of the time the accommodation is dorm-like and on the odd occassion you require a sleeping bag. I think the sleeping bag is more for using as a blanket as only sheets and pillows are provided.

Thanks for the response.  I thought that's what the accommodations would be like. I actually booked my trip today...BUT I decided to go with the Mediterranean Highlights tour because I really wanted to see Spain. It would have been nice to meet you folks.  Have an excellent time on your trip!

My roommate, Erin, and I will be also joining you on the Horizons tour, starting on Sept 6th. we'll be in London on September 1st to do some extra touring if anyone is there early as well and want to join.

Erin and I will be staying at a Hostel, the Astor Hyde Park has us reserved as far as things are planned right now but we may change this, haven't quite decided yet. Have you picked your place yet?
