Hey out there, I'll be joining the Horizon tour on 6 Sept.  Not sure what's waiting in the big wide world out there.  Never been overseas before so this will be my first trip.  I'd like to befriend people who will be on this trip and hear what your thoughts or views are.  Will be travelling on my own from South Africa.    My main concern is whether I'll have enough spending money because compared to rest of the world the Rand is doing very poorly.  Hope to hear from you soon.  Tania (Peaches)

I'm joining this tour as well. You might need to bring more money with you because as far as I know that there are some extra activities which are not included in the activities. one of them is going up to the Swiss Mountain. So better bring more money with you.

Thanks for the advise about the cash. Really looking forward to this. Am a bit apprehensive about my arrival and getting around London. I will be there on the morning of the 5th. Need to find my way from Gatwick to the Royal National Hotel, stash my bags and try to get some sightseeing in before I can book in officially at 2 pm. Hopefully I can pick up a map and some advise from the staff at the hotel. Maybe you could give me some advise, I see you are from the UK. Does this mean you know your way around town?
