yeah, I just checked my receipt from Contiki, and it states that I get a sleeping bag...I don't know how necessary it is but I am guessing that they are giving it to us for a reason lmao

wow...I am leaving straight from Toronto with 2 friends, we are going to stay a extra day in London prior to the tour starting, and then coming back to Toronto after Paris...I only have so much vacation time from work so as much as I wish I could stay longer, its just not possible lol

Yep, I've started but will be packing light. It's enough to try and drag myself out of bed early in the morning (plz don't remind me about that part...) but lugging an overpacked suitcase everywhere is so not worth it.

As long as it doesn't rain where we are and it's warmer than what we're having here, I'll be happy. Whatever happens, happens. No turning back now!! Best to check the weather for our stops closer to departure. I've been seeing a range of 20C-32C.

I didn't realize the weight maximum was so little! I'm the worst with over packing so this should be interesting... Probably a lot of tops and dresses and then a few bottoms, oh i have no idea - i'm more a last minute packer ha. So excited though!

Damn Rolo! Don't you hate that? Bloody work. I'm lucky enough to have about 1.5 months leave accrued so I can stay in Europe for a month!

I know this might be a bit personal but I was curious as to how much you guys think you should bring in spending money.. I don't know how much to bring (in Euros that is).. I know a lot of it will be spent on alcoholic beverages

fr8as, do as much vacationing as you can when you can! Work does help to pay for stuff but getting the time off isn't as easy. But 1.5 months?!? NICE!

The amount of spending money is a hard one to make considering food, excursions, tours, shopping... Seems like you need to guesstimate what you think you'd drink in an average day and go from there to figure out the pricing. There's some Aussie info about money on some of the forums that you can check out. You just need to be comfortable with what you take and comfortable with getting more of it and how if you need it. to be honest, I am bringing shorts, tshirts, jeans a sweatshirt and trackpants....nothing major, nothing fancy, no dress shoes, etc...
I figure that if I need anything really specific like that I can always find it there....Otherwise, im packing for comfort lol

I dunno if you are a guy or a girl but as a guy, I find it pretty basic to pack...just don't forget your passport hahaha
