Hi I just booked my trip today and was just wondering if there was anybody else out there going on this tour? I'm moving over to the UK for 12 months and am starting out with a little tour to get a taste for what's out there.

Im going on this tour too! Im from Australia and am travelling europe for a few months before I start studying in the UK for a semester! And I too wanted a tour that would give me a taste of everything! Where are you from?

I am also going on this trip!! I'm from America but have been living in the UK for the summer, and since I've decided not to work I'm taking time to travel instead!

Hi Katherine, Welcome to this forum, I only joined the other day! But I think there is also another forum for this tour too, its under European horizons called "Anyone on Aug 13th 2008 tour?"

Im travelling canada for 3 weeks and then onto greek islands and venice with some friends and then i have 10 days in London with another friend before the contiki! So will you be in London before you start contiki too?

What are your plans for after contiki? More travelling?

Wow are you doing a lot of traveling!! GOOD FOR YOU!!! Are you visiting the greek islands and venice right now? I'll be in London not too long before we head out on the trip (as plans stand right now, knowing me things can change!)

I just joined this tour last week! I am so excited only a few more days! I will be departing Canada on July 8th and touring London for a few days before we depart on the 13th! When does everyone else arrive? Anyone interested in meeting up for shopping and/or drinks before the tour departs?!

I would bet a bunch of us are gonna be up for drinks (and maybe a quick bit of shopping) the night before the tour.

I haven't decided if I'm coming to London much earlier than the trip, but I'd be interested in hanging out if anybody plans on anything.

question for you guys: are you all staying at the Royal National Hotel the night before the tour leaves? or is anyone staying at a nearby hostel?
