And silly question! My friends and I seem to overpack every trip. I know that isn't possible, but what kind of weather will we be expecting during the beginning of September?

Yes we actually leave Toronto on the 2 arrive on the 3 and tour starts on the 4!

I've been asking some friends who have been and from what I'm hearing:

Italy - very hot
Germany/swizterland - cooler

Ive got a good idea about London weather but nowhere else the tour is going...I think it could vary alot like you said.

Are you doing any other travelling whilst over there? I am the same, fly out of Melbourne on the 2nd of Sept and arrive in the evening on the 3rd...except travelling alone.

It will generally be quite warm all over europe though there will be a noticeable drop in temp in the evenings, - there will be showers of rain also. Nothing too dramatic!

Other than the tour we aren't travelling anymore.
we are staying in london the extra night and leaving Sunday morning.

we are planning to do the extra optional tours. Most likely the one in switzerland.

The optional tour in Switzerland sounds gamazing...and i have spoken to people who have done that and said it was one of their favourite parts of their Contiki, so i think ill be doing that as well...
