I'm also trying to book a solo trip. I'm 27 and surprisingly enough everyone I know in Miami prefers to travel to Disney World instead of going abroad. Lame. I'm just a little nervous about the solo part....Have any of you done it before?

Hi! I'm thinking of doing Amsterdam for Easter, which would be my first Contiki tour. It's a pretty short trip, so I would love to arrive in London a night or 2 before, does anyone know the best way of doing this?

Hello future traveling companions!
My name is Daniel (29/Philadelphia) and I'm thinking about going on this short tour to Amsterdam solo as well since I just broke up with my girlfriend! I've been there twice about 4 years ago (Contiki tours) and have been dying to go back since. I'd love to hear from anyone who is thinking about going. It's such a beautiful city and the night life is amazing + 420 friendly!!! Email me back at daniel.perez@mortgagefamily.com if you have any questions or if anyone would like to chat.

I'm planning to go on this trip. I will be traveling solo. This will be my 1st ever trip outside the US (except for TJ and Rosarito Mexico), so I am looking forward to it. I also want to stay a day or two in London. I hope to meet a lot of cool peoples on this trip. E-mail me at jford@legalelements.com if you want to chat about the trip.

I am also considering going to Amsterdam and staying a couple of extra days in London. I'm not sure if I should arrive early or extend the trip by staying a couple of days after in London. Would love to hear what other people are planning to do.

OK..I am replying to my own message because I learned some information. The Hotel that the tour meets in London is called Royal National something (I looked it up on tripadviser when I was at work --may have the name wrong). The reviews are bad and I am not staying there. So I looked up hotels in the Bloomsbury neighborhood and found the Boonington which is in the same neighborhood and they had very good reviews. The hotel will still be under construction in April (won't be complete until June 2007) but it's not like we are going to be in our rooms that much. Anyway, I figured I mention it to some of the people considering to go on the tour. It would be cool if we can all hang out in London as well.

Hey! Im also traveling alone. This will be my first trip outside of the United States and Im stoked! I booked a hotel room for the pre and post nights at the Royal National because it was cheap. I figured that I would only be in the room to sleep. I'll have half a day to check out the sights in London. It would be great to meet up with you guys and do some sight seeing. My email is slp_782@hotmail.com if anyone is interested in talking about the trip.
