I was thinking the same thing but you won't be alone! I'm also flying solo and going on the June 1st trip. I'll actually be in London at 7:00 AM on the 1st because I managed to get a cheaper flight on Transat. I confirmed with my travel agent just yesterday that this tour was a go and no longer had a chance to be cancelled. I hope we get a chance to chat and meet up over there! |

You won't be alone either =D I'm also doing this solo! *Phew* Kinda worried I'd be the only one... Never really travelled on my own, esp. this far from where I am...Itll be my First time in Europe! eeks...the time has finally arrived for me to just go & explore! I'm actually trying to book that trip this week. I hope its not too late <=I Depends on my budget,won't know for sure till later this week...regardless if I can/cannot book this tour, I'll still be going to Europe. Already booked my flight to London...I'll be arriving on 5/30 ...so I'll be in London on my own for a little while till I meet up w/the rest of the tour on the 2nd (since thats when the tour arrives from the US) I want this trip so bad though, I'm going through odds n ends on making sure I can ! This is DEFINITELY an experience I don't want to miss! I cant wait!!!!!!! ---- By the way, How much are you guys bringing for spending $$$??? And are they really strict on the type of backpak you bring???I was planning on doing some more travelling after this tour, and have this huge travelling backpack w/that metal frame...I ask cuz I thought I read that somewhere that you cant (???)... just wanted to make sure... ---------- Hope to see guys then! =) |

Hi everyone!!
Looks like there will be a few of us travelling by ourselves!!! This will be the experience of a lifetime!!! soooo looking forward to it!! And I will be arriving in London on June 1st in the morning also!! I guess May 31 is the cheapest day to travel in Canada!! And for the backpack question, according to the lady I booked with, they are very strict for the size and weight, but the slleping bag doesn't have to fit in the suit case, it can be on the side and you are allowed a backpack as a hand luggage. For the spending money, you have to count enough to eat about 2 meals a day for 16 days plus as much as you want for personnal stuff and souvenirs. A friend of mine is in school in the Netherlands right now and she says it is a little more expensive than in Canada (so with the currencies exchange it the US it is a little more at the moment). So I'm looking forward to meeting you all, we'll have a great time I'm not worried about that!!! See ya!!! : ) |
