My name is Craig and we will be joining you on the tour that's me and my girlfriend Marlene. We are from Johannesburg in South-Africa and are dying to get there asap. I have been in europe before (2000) but my girlfriend has not so she will probably pass out from excitement a few times on the tour. I have a couple of mates that have been on similar Contiki tours and they all had a blast so I am sure we will experience the same. We are staying at the Royal National the night before the tour so we can skip the 06h00 train ride YAWN!! 

Are you going on your own or do you have some friends joining you?

Yes i am going on my own, I have a few friends that too have done contiki and most on there own so i thought why not i tried to persuade my boyf into coming however he didnt like the whole sitting in a coach thing.  I too may be staying in the Royal National i still have to get myself all organised!  I can not wait to get there though and see everything and do everything. Well hopefully i will see you both the night before and we can have a few drinks or something.

Sorry it took so long to reply I'm busy with budgets at work (VERY EXCITING !!!) but it's friday afternoon 14h38 and work is not an option now. Have you been to Europe or is this your first trip? 

I see there is another message board for the same trip with a few replies all from Australia, as I said on the other board I best pack my yellow T-shirt. 

I can't believe your boyfriend wouldn't want to go on a trip like this and the whole idea of the coach is to party at night and sleep on the bus. They will wake you up as the Colisseum drifts by. Speaking of which I am looking forward to Italy the most, a little bit more history than our countries.

Well it should be +- 9h45 in the evening in Aus, I think, so enjoy your weekend, mine is still 2 hours away.

I am also booked on this tour! I am so excited

I am going to be in London on the 4th, 5th and 6th. On the 4th I am doing a bus tour with a friend of mine who will be in London for the day. On the 5th I plan on doing touristy like things in the city and have been considering going to Stonehenge on the 6th.

If anyone is going to be there for a few extra days before, let me know! I would love to get to know people on the tour!

I am travelling alone, 21 year old Canadian. It's also my first time in Europe!!

Sorry it has taken so long to reply but i have been organising my flight and evrything over to UK.. Not long to go now hope you are all excited now you all should be!!  I am definatley keen to meet up beforehand and have a few touristy trips around London etc..  Let me know all your ideas and we should all try and organise or something

Hey Everyone!!

I am doing this tour that leaves London on the morning of the 7th but I am going to be in London a few nights before staying at the Royal National. Doing the hop on hop off tour on the 4th and plan on shopping and seeing some extra sights in the city (wax museum, etc) on the 5th. On the 6th I would like to go check out Stonehendge and the Roman Baths. If anyone is interested in joining me on the 5th or 6th let me know!! Would love some company and the chance to get to know someone before the tour actually starts!
