my name is Fred and i was wondering if anyone reading the message boards were going to the highlights trip on May 12-13. I live in the canadian province of New Brunswick and originally from Montreal and it will be my first trip in Europe... can't wait.

good to see that someone else is coming too... I didn't realized it but you're right, 6 weeks only are left. Really don't have a clue on what to expect from this trip (which is a good thing) but i can't wait to drop in London and meet new friends from all around the world. French is my first language and i also speak English but i don't really know anything in Italian or German so that part of the trip should be weirder...

I fly out next thursday. im going to morocco and spain first. then a week in london. Are you travelling anywhere else?

well i hope we'll be speaking a few words of these languages after the trip. Sadly, I won't be travelling anywhere else during this trip... not enough vacations from work! But Spain and Morocco sounds like great places to visit and i'm sure you'll have a great time there. Give me some news during your trip. Are you going to travel solo for both trips or do you know anyone in London?

Im travelling with friends through morocco and spain, then staying with a friend who's living in London from 6th May up until the conitiki trip - I'll be on my own for the contiki trip.
Such a shame you don't have much holidays, but at least your going to some great places too.

Only one week left! How was your trip to Morrocco and Spain? Nice to know that i won't be the only one travelling solo during the tour. I still have a suitcase or a back pack to buy. What are you travelling with?

Hi Fred,
I�ve got 1 night left in Barcelona. I have loved Spain, it is a wonderful place. Morocco was great too, but such a crazy and unusual place.
Im travelling with a rucksack - i wish i had bought a suitcase on wheels though, because the rucksack has been sooo heavy over the past 3 weeks and im sick of carrying around everywhere. I can�t wait to dump it in London tomorrow. If your around any earlier send me a message and we should meet up for a drink or something.

Thanks for the tip on the suitcase thing. I should be arriving at Heathrow Friday morning so if you want we could meet at the Royal National Hotel this Friday at 1Hoopm (London time) for a drink and lunch somewhere.
