Hey There,

              Myself and 2 mates (Scott and Nathan) are on this tour. We are itching to get on this tour already, hopefully the time flys! We plan to party on from day 1 and back it up each day, until the end!! Hopefully we have a few fellow party animals on this tour, to go the journey with...
We are not on the tour just for the party side of things though, we wanna check out the sites too of course (likely with a headache though!!). 

 This  tour kicks off our travelling through Europe, and after the tour we head to Germany for the World Cup. After that we have a stack of countries/places we wanna see and no real plan or structure on seeing them. Thats half the fun for us, just playing it by ear!!

Anyway it would be great to hear from other travellers on this tour, so please write back to this post and say hello..

                          Great to hear from another person on this tour. Im pretty sure that this date was a guaranteed departure, ill have to double check that. Either way im sure the bus will be packed and full of good times.
Are you and your friends traveling before/after the tour?

I'm Miyoshi (21yrs - i'm the one in the hat) and i'm on this tour with my friend Erica (21 - also in the pic) and we are the 2 friends Caitlin mentioned in her posting.
I'm sooooo excited for this tour - counting down the days! and i'm also pumped that u guys are up for partying hardcore. Definately count me in.
Erica and I are goign to be in Dublin starting on the 27th of May, and then we will be in London from the 3rd til our departure, staying in the contiki hotel... 
I read in your posting that u and ur friends are hitting the rest of europe for 3 months afterwards... are you planning on travelling before the tour at all?

my name is Scott and I am travelling on the European Highlights Tour June 5-18th. Good to see a few more Aussie lads on tour. Can't wait to party 24/7 in Europe. You can count on me to go the distance all night every night.

I'm in London from the 31/05 and gonna do a bit of touristy stuff before the tour. Staying at the Contiki hotel the night before kick off. Post Contiki, I'm heading to Scotland to play Golf and then back to London before heading home to Adelaide.

Can't wait. Only 6 weeks to go Pearla!!!!!!!!!!

Well its safe to say we are all on this tour for the same reasons!!! bring it on! Its really not far away at all either, we will be on the bus before we know it!

Hey there Miyoshi. In regards to travelling before the tour, we leave Aust on the 31st of may, and are spending the days before the tour just checkin out thre UK. We are in Manchester on the 4th, and basically making a mad dash back to London that night (or morning of the 5th!)

so excited, glad to see more people are posting... my payment is almost due so i know its gettin close. i'm also heading to scotland after the tour so i hope to have some company while travelling... i suck at that stuff when i'm solo... haha...

G'day Tim & co,

this is a small world isn't it coz I am leaving on the 31st May and travelling to London via Singapore. I am flying solo for this tour but thats cool coz  I have mates in London who I'm catching up with and have also arranged to meet up with another couple of mates in different cities while on tour, so should be interesting.

6 weeks to the day tomorrow til I leave and believe me it can't get here quick enough!! Bring it on!!!!

Any others out there gonna post? C'mon let yourselves be heard!

My name is Melissa and my best friend Matt and I will be going on this trip, too (he's in the pic with me).  This will be my first trip to Europe and I am freaking out about how close it's getting!!  But, I'm very excited, of course, and can't wait to drink my way through 7 different countries- not to mention all the fun to be had on our last days in Amsterdam!  I'm curious about how many people will be on a bus, too, but I'm sure we'll make it work. 

I think our flight has us getting into London around noon on the 6th.  What is everyone going to be up to that night?  I think a pre-party is in order.

Just me checking in again... Good to see more and more posts!
Looks like we are on the same plane Scott, ours is via Singapore too on the 31st, a 5 hour stop off from memory! Us Adelaide boys will all have to catch up at the airport and say hello.

As far as the bus capacity goes, i think its about 40odd. My mate done this tour a year back and he had 40+ on board. Im only assuming we will have similar numbers.

Having a few quiet ones at a pub in London sounds good. You're in London from the 3rd aren't you? Count me in for that. Just gotta work out what pub!!

Re- numbers, I think Tim has got the figures right, a mate of mine did one of these about 3 years ago and he said there was around 45 people on the bus. As far as I'm concerned, the more the merrier!!

Hey Scott B, looks like we might not be on the same flight. I checked our details last night, we leave on 12:15 on the 30th, not th 31st. (flight SQ230). If this is not you, looks like pre drinks at contiki hotel will have to do!

Hey Melissa, you say you arrive on the 6th. (thats after the start of tour if you mean june). ?? is that a mistake, or are you arriving 6th of May?
