Hi All,

Just wondering who is on board for the June 14-28 tour it's not far away just hoping to find some buddies to help create mischief before we leave. I was also wondering of anyone will be heading to the world cup at all. I will be in Kaiserslautern, Germany two days before watching Australia hammer Japan 8-Nil so if anyone else will be nearbye it would be great to meet and have some pre tour drinks.

Will also be in London early on 14/6 so again it would be fun to get the touring started early.

Another thing, if anyone is headed to Mykonos afterwards I'm booking a large apartment on Paradise beach my therory is the more partyers the better. So if anyone wants to meet up there make sure you bring your drinking hat.

   I'm arriving in London on the 11th of June (I think!) and am heading to Portugal after the tour (followed by Spain and Italy). Am travelling solo, so anyone who wants to join me feel free!

Hi All,

This looks like it's shaping up to be an amazing trip. Which is good because I'm looking out of my work window at the gloomy Melbourne Weather (in the middle of February) funny that.

I can't be bothered reading over everything else so I'm not sure if I mentioned that I will be Arriving in London on the afternoon before the tour so I'm thinking that it would be more than a good idea for everyone to meet and get the party started early.

Is everyone staying at the Contiki hotel that night because if we are I will look for a watering hole near bye so we can organise a meeting place.

I can't wait to meet everyone in June. Please forgive me in advance for my uncontrollable excitement. I promise I'll be much more subdued on the tour. Unless there is beer and opportunities to watch soccer.

hey people.... am from adelaide south australia and i'll be on the highlights tour from 14th-27th june.  cant wait its gonna be such a huge amount of fun (and definately a ton of hangovers), sister just showed me her europe contiki photos and it looks like she had the best time. i'll be arriving in london on the 8th but flying to dublin for a couple of days to check the place out then im back in london on the 12th staying at the royal national still the tour starts....if anyone wants to catch up before the tour just give us a shout.

My name is Sarah, i will be on the European Highlights June 14-27 tour with my friend Kirsten. We are both Aussies, and live just out of Melbourne.We arrive in London on the 10th June and are staying at the Royal National the night before the tour. Also, we are venturing on to the Greek islands after the tour, if anyone else is we should catch up. See you all soon, Im really looking forward to it!!!!!

It's getting close now - I can't wait! 

I'm staying at the Generator hotel on the night of the 13th it's just up the road from the Royal - And it's bar looks really funky!.  Has anyone scoped out a possible meeting place for a pre tour coldy?

I was also wondering has anyone who's travelling around after the tour purchased a Eurorail pass?  If so which one?

Yeh i recon a pre-tour coldy is a go-er.  aparently there is a "room" or something at the royal called the basement where we have to meet for the 7pm meeting the night before hand.  How bout we get ppl meeting at the basement at say 4pm then we can go off for a drink somewhere.....sure theres going to be know shortage of pubs around!!

   I haven't bought a Eurorail pass, but if you check out their website it's pretty helpful. It lets you plug in your itinerary and gives you the best choices for passes.
