Hey Ash this is my 1st contiki tour too. All of my friends are broke! As fr spending money I wouldn't have a clue but you can access money pretty easy as far as i know if you are with a well known bank. I know I want to do lots of shopping so am saving up now so I won't be skimping. Just remind me not to buy everything!
Am feeling a bit sore and sorry for mself at the moment had a big one last night. Lost my friends at bondi my phone wasn't working and i had no idea where I was! Being just a little bit tipsy didn't help! Was practising drinking cheap wine for the tour! Will be good i am sure!

Hi all, I am flying in to london on the 31st and am staying at the contiki place where we meet I think. I want to try and go horse riding in Hyde park if I can on the 1st and am meeting up with my neighbours who will be on hols at the same time! How old are you all just out of interest? I am 25 yes half way to 50. its my 1st trip away by myself too so i am packing it!
PLEASE remind me not to drink wine on the tour!

hey!! nice. yea the contiki place looks really good. we are getting there a few days earlier on the 28th but not sure exactly where we are staying. too many choices! horse riding sounds fun.you will have a ball. my best mate says she'll go with u haha. we're both 21.nah u have to drink wine. its the cheapest dont worry we will both drink it with u.make fools of ourselves together hehe.

so are you guys taking a backpack or a suitcase? im taking a backpack but my friend isnt sure what to take. are u going to oktoberfest? accomodation is so hard to find!! if anyone knows of anywhewre that is not booked out or $300 a nihgt let us know haha.

well, we're flying out of the U.S. on the 29th n do a little london sightseeing until we hafta meet up!...My friend n i have will have just graduated highschool the day before we leave!..soo ahh!...we're young---well goin on 19 (haha, sounds better than 18)

2 answer u're question i think i'm gunna take a backpack, cuz my bro went on a contiki before n he said that we will be climbing a number of stairs to our rooms. So he said a backpack is the best route to go. n by the way wilko i'm with yah on the drinking wine thing...its makes me super sleepy, so im gunna hafta stick to the other alcohol!!

I currently have a suitcase but am gonna buy a backpack. might go the DFO this weekend and se what they have. one of my friends is hoping to be there when oktberfest is on her grandma lives over there so she is hoping to have that accomodation! Might have to introduce you to her and see how you go! After the tour i am going to Canada for a week then headin home. My best mate is supposed to be living over then at that time he is over there now but just on hols if he doesn't go back and live there I just might have to find another contiki tour! i try to go horse riding on every holiday and I thought that would be a great place as I might not get time on the tour.

N you will absolutely luuuvv Canada...i went there the summer before last n it was B-E-A-U-T-E-F-U-L!!!..i went to alberta and british columbia, where does u're friend live?? N i mean if worst comes to worst you can come chill with me in Iowa!!...(its in the midwest, probs bout the most boring part of the U.S.) If you do go to Canada there's oodles of places you can horseback ride!..so no worries!

yea back packs are the way to go. knowing my luck if i got a suitcase it would break or the wheels would fall off! hehe. DFO in melbourne have quite a few but your from sydney yea? i got mine from aussie disposals. they have heaps and a pretty good price aswell. wow canada would be awesome. my friends just got back from there. so are you guys just going for a few weeks then? how lng are u going for ash. haha yea just a little..... not too much though haha. yea there is oktoberfest. 22nd-7th. is so bookedout already though so if u wanna go book it now!

Went to DFO on the weekend but they didn't have any backpacks but found lots of other things to buy . Will have to go to a Kathmandu store I reckon. I am going for the tour and then to canada for a week. Didn't want to take too much time off work and not have anymore holidays leftover for the rest of the year. how bout you guys?Was talking to my frined today he is in vegas spendin all his money! He was looking around Abbotsford area but i think he might be changing his mind. Lookout IOWA! just kidding. i told him if he doesn't go he will have to fly over at the same time anyway!
