Hi Kristy,

Im not doing the tour on the same dates as you (mine is 21st July) but I am doing the 25 day camping one. My plan for getting there is to stay the night before at the camp site you have to meet at at 730am. I am heading over to London tomorrow so have almost a month to work my way down to Greece but figure I dont want to be doing any travelling the morning of the tour, that would just be stressful and I would likely be late!! I emailed the place, Camping Athens, and they will hire you a tent for the night (they have no cabins or the like) for 16 euros so thats my plan for the night before - figure a couple of Contiki people will be doing the same and probably the tour guide and the like will be there to!! Hope this helps!

Hi Beck! I just finished the 22 day camping, which is the firsthalf of the 46 day one, so u'll be doing the second half. Yeah it is a good idea to stay at camping athens, although it is a **** campsite for socialising. You will get to meet the campers the day before. Athens is such a boring city and some of the campers come home early from the city touring, so its a good chance to get to know some of them. have fun!
