Yup I'll be there can't wait! I'm Aussie and going solo, looking forward to meeting everyone! I wonder is anyone spending time in London after the tour? I'm hoping to stay there for a week or so afterwards to explore. This should be an awesome trip!

Myself and a mate are doing this and are super pumped about going. We are leaving from Brissy and I'll be spending the week before the trip in London and then a couple of days in Singapore on the way back.

Over the christmas I have been doing alot of pre trip planning and have uploaded to my site today.

Can't wait till June!

Wow lots of Aussies! We leave Aussie on June 8th but are planning on staying in the UK and working etc once the tour is finished! We're travelling round Australia at the moment - can you guys recommend any "must see" places? Esp places off the beaten track that the tourists don't know about! We're off to Port Mcquarie on Tuesday then heading to Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth

Hey gmanual, that website of yours is really cool and your friend sounds like possibly the coolest guy i might ever meet. Big Grin

I'm getting to London on the 7th and meeting up with gmanual. looking at good hostels at the moment. I'm thinking somewhere near the royal national hotel but really have no idea. Where is everyone else planning on staying?

So pumped for this!

Brynn, I would recommend the Generator Hostel. You can book online and it's pretty cheap. Just down the road from the Royal National. I'm booked to stay there after my tour for 3 nights and it only cost me $100 Australian.

Not long to go now...am getting very excited!

We just got back to sydney after 3 months travelling round Oz so are busy looking at all the Contiki stuff thats arrived, optional extras, budgeting for other stuff (eiffel tower etc) and finding travel insurance.

Georges boat, Bavarian Beerhall and Gondola ride all sound pretty good at the moment.

See you all in 18 days!
