Well im Tessa and im 22 and my friend melissa is 22 as well, we are going overseas for ten and a half weeks and seeing as much as we can an making the most of it - well i have been over to the uk a few times but never to europe and this will be melissas first experience- i have lots of family which lives in the uk some close to you i have a great aunt who lives at coventry.
We fly out of NZ on the 19th of may and going to dubai then fly to uk and have a week up at south sheilds by newcastle then back down to london for the contiki - we are both very excited,
have you been round europe before?

I'm tossing up to go on the 31st May camping tour or go on the European Whirl ...jury is still out.

I'm from Australia and this marks my first over seas trip and going to be by myself. Not scared but just a bit anxious about connecting flights and getting around...I'm going around the world and Contiki marks my European leg and I've only heard good stories about making friends for life and having an absolute ball - can't wait.

I'm bit older 33, but feel like a teenager since leaving behind an unhappy marriage and finding my inner child once again!

Hey how's it going? My name is Robert and i'm from Adelaide, Australia. I'm 21 and i'm heading over with my two mates who are also 21. None of us have done this before and we're all excited! We all plan to travel around England afterwords. Any ideas of preparation, asides from the basics just incase we have forgotton anything.
We will be keen to catch up before the tour starts to meet people and get to know them.

yes it is getting all very close - well we pick up our travel documents next week and apparntly we have to go to some orientation the night b4 so we can all meet up then - we are staying at the generator,
sorry dont really have any ideas on other prepartions - i kinda dont really know my self  -

Hey Robert and friends,

I think this is a first time for all of us so no real advise to hand over except this one small thing. I have relatives in Italy, and have been told by them that most of europe is still quite cold for this time of year. Italy has also had quite abit of rain. Don't know if that helps at all, maybe pack and extra jumper or something, but then again, might clear up by the time we get there?!?
A note for all fellow campers...When do u arrive in London?

Yeah we get into London on the 25th. We are all staying with rellies till the 30th. That night we will stay somewhere in London.

I arrive on 21st May, so i have 9days to spare before we head off.
I think its at the Royal National hotel at 7 or something like that.

I will be at my hotel around 11 in the morning.
I want go then in to the city, to go sithtseeing of  to do something different.
Meet some people of the group to do something together.
