Hi guys, is anyone out there doing the 21 day camping tour from London to Athens from May 22-June 11? I'm doing it alone, but will meet the tour in Amsterdam on day one as I'm staying with a mate in Denmark for a week beforehand. Any advice? Hopefully someone else will be joining me! I'm a 22-year-old newspaper journo looking to see more of the world, particularly Eastern Europe obviously, heard it's beautiful! Look forward to making new friends along the way

Im on that too, never been out of Australia so i thought i better go while i have the chance, just worried about how i am going to find my way back to London from Athens as i dont know a lot of greek for finding a hotel and finding where the airport or train station is and which plane/train to catch. All part of the adventure i suppose.

I just finished working in Adelaide im in the riverland until i leave on may 17, gives me a few days to get over the jetlag in London, everything says book your trips before you leave cos its cheaper, so I got a flight out of Athens back to London booked for the arvo the day the tour ends. I wanna work in the UK for a while so i will be straight into the job hunting. Im finally gonna see some of the world

Im staying at the Hyde Park Inn if i get around to booking it until the night b4 the tour when im hoping to stay at the royal national but havent heard from contiki how to book it through them. Angela will be able to tell us if Scotland is worth a look. Sounds like we are all in the same boat travelling alone but i suppose its mostly only those travelling alone who look here. Who is leaving from Athens back to London right after the tour ends? If you are leaving, what airline/time did you get?

Anyone know any info about how to get to Athens International Airport from Oceanis Hotel?

Hey Steven, I got a flight out of Athens the day the tour ends at 2.45pm with british airways. I was heaps worried about finding the airport too but apparently most of the people who work in tourism over there speak english so finding the airport shouldnt be rocket science.

P.S Anyone reading this wondering why they cant log in, get your password resent to you and it will be heaps different to your original one, and check your junkmail box in case it lands there.
