Hi all, I just booked in my holiday departing London 2nd July 08. It will be the first time I've left Australia and I'm pretty excited.

Would anybody else going on this tour like to say hello.

Great! What made you decide to go and what made you choose the 21 day camping in particular?
I've been meaning to travel after hearing friends tell their holiday stories so I finally decided to just do it. I thought that an air mattress in a tent should not be too different to a cheapo hostel bed anyway because you're only there for sleep.

Hi,

well looked like a month off work was about all I a could afford so a 21 day tour looked perfect with a few days left to do something else...camping sounded cool so I chose that one....I agree with the stories from friends, sick of hearing them talk about their overseas trips without having any of my own....I'm also a 25 y/o guy, originally from Wollongong (1hr sth of Sydney) but been living in Canberra for last 4 years.

Hi Briony,

Nice to see there is more than 2 of us on the tour!!! I've got a week booked at the Royal National in London before heading back to Aus...should be fun, wouldn't mind checking out Scotland but will play it by ear after the tour I guess....

Hello Briony!

I'm hanging around London for a few days before and after the tour too. I doubt you can run out of things to see and do but I haven't planned anything in particular yet.

Are you an Aussie too?

Make that seven!!! I'm 20yr old Teahn from Cairns and very much looking forward to this trip. I arrive in London on 30 June and stay at the Royal National for 2 nights. I am stayin at a different hostel when we get back (cheaper lol) but it's real close to anyway. I then fly to Athens for a Greek cruise for 9 days and then back to London for a few days more before flying back to Oz. Should be fun and I shall meet you all soon hopefully. My contiki documents still haven't arrived but :S I rang my travel agent yesterday but she assured me it was all okay. If I'm not there, you know I got ripped by my agent lol.

Hi Teahn!
The Greek cruise sounds great.

I just got my Contiki documents which makes it sound even more real.

I'll be at the Royal National the night before the tour too but at the Generator hostel after for 3 nights which I've heard is a bit of a full on party place. People say you won't get much sleep there.
