i'm going on the 45 days camping tour leaving on 22nd August 2006. i was wondering if who else is going on this tour. I'm from melbourne, 22yrs old and cant wait to meet and party with my tour mates:-)

Hey all, was just wondering is the link below ours the 45 day camping but leaving on august the 23rd ours? Because i was thinking it may be the 23rd over there when we leave but the 22nd here? If it is theres more people in there who are also going on our trip.
I hope that makes sense.

The link below us was actually started for the 2005 trip - it got me
too for a bit. That was indeed for the 23rd Aug. Ours is definitely
leaving the 22nd from London!

i'm not eactly sure when i'm arriving in london as i'm going on the 32 day scandi&russia tour before the this tour, so have 10 days break to do whatever and to also make it back from copenhagen to london.
5.25am hey, geez glad its not me:P but hey at least uve got the whole day to do whatever u want.  whereabouts u staying in london? u coming over with ur mates?

Hey karla, yeah its good how i get the day to do what i want. What i'm doing is when i arrive im going to the place ill be working at which at the moment could be either Durham, Blackpool, middlesborough, Birmingham or Burnley doing pub work which is what i do now. Which are all out of London. And then going to the Royal National on the 21st to stay and then doing the contiki tour and then hopefully meet up with some of us from the tour after we finish before i head back to where i'm working at. So yeah there my plans at the moment but they could all change before i leave. With my mates, Matt is heading over on the 2nd of May (i think) and staying with his uncle and doing some work and then coming down to meet me at the Royal National and my other mate Adam well at the moment he is on an exchnage program in Portugal and when he finishes there he is coming straight over to the Royal National on the 21st where we can all meet up! Bit hectic but should be all good. Scandi&russia tour!!!! Wiked! When does that leave? I thought about doing one of them so make sure you let me know how it was. How long you staying after the tour?

The Reids eh... Well I haven't heard of them but ******hcurch is a big place.



I will probably stay in London for about 6-9 months and do the usual
work a bit, travel a bit lark (on Working Holiday Visa). Then back to
NZ via a trip on some other continent (not sure which yet).



So basically I have firm plans until about October (ie Contiki trip ends) and it gets a bit vague after that....

Hey all, I just thought i would put my 2 cents worth in aswell since my mates have, I�m an 18 year old from Australia currently living in Portugal on exchange until july, when i will travel around england for while before the tour hopefully. If anyone is looking for a tent buddy i�m interested as i don�t like the chances of fitting three (Ash, Matt and I) 6-foot guys in a two man tent!! Looking foward to meeting all of you as us three are very easy going and love a good time, if any one is heading over to Portugal just let me know and i�ll be more than happy to show you the sights,

uhhh, anyone else concerned that the departure date for our trip is
removed from the site..? or does it just mean the tour is full?

Hmm.. yeah crap.
I would be very surprised if it is full already - its nearly 5 months away still. But given its the last trip of the year and Octoberfest, who knows.

I will check with my travel agent this week and let you all know.

Hey all me and matt went and spoke with our travel agent and she says its all good at the moment and if they've taken it off its only because its full, which is a good sign. She said if its cancelled they call all the travel agents where the people have booked and let them know before they take the date off the website, so its all looking good!!!!

Hey mine n matts travel agent called me this morning and our tour is completly sold out so i think thats 50 people!!! Sounds like we are going to have a blast of a time!!!
