I am also doing the 46 day and leaving on July 14th. It will be mad. I can't wait. Europe here we come. i mite need a drinking buddy, coz i'm half celebrating as well, i will be finihsing uni in June. we'll have to a beer 2gether in one of the 6 n half weeks ok i will be serious, it will be more than one. Hehe!!
And on the plus side i am traveling solo also. It's not long to go it's now less than 5 months WOOP!!!!!!

I am not going on the 46 day camping but I will be joining you on the 4th August for the 25 day one. Im really excited about it.

So what do you both do and how old are you.

Im glad i have found some people who will be on my trip as im going alone as well. I thought I would be one of the only people going alone but it looks like a lot of people do it.

Hey Alan yeah i live in Melbourne, AUS. It wont be for long coz i will stay in London afterwards. Prob for a little while, and have a working holiday. Well i would definately be happy to celebrate ur birthday :-D
Yeah i arrive in london on 11th, a few days before the monster trip.
And Viki to answer ur question, i work in a drive through bottle shop. So its just a an even better reason to be around even more alcohol :-D and I'm also 21. I may be a little legless after 25 days. LOL. Nar i will be responsible. he he.
And Viki, there are now 2 other people that u "KNOW" that are going alone. GO us!!!!!

Im glad that I have met 2 other people going now, I have just changed to the 46 day one now so i'll be with you both the whole time now..... its really exciting and I cant wait to go. I also wouldn't say no to some drinking sessions always up for a laugh.

Well I'm English and don't live that far away from London about 2 hours ish, I am on my placement year from university working as a receptionist in a hotel and can't wait to finish.

Well, I haven't decided what Im going to do yet about hotels and stuff I haven't really thought about it but Im def up for meeting up before.

umm well my flights
i leav auckland july 11th at 1800
and arrive in london on july 12th at 1215
lol i cant wait i think its only 130days to go yaya

Thats cool we're all around the same age.... well im not actually 21 yet, Im 21 next week exciting.

Umm Im not actually sure how much beers are in london, they are around £3.00 something here so probs a little bit more so quite expensive. Course I'll celebrate with you.

lol I can't believe you have counted the days.... I have counted the weeks but not gone as far as counting the days yet. 19 weeks to go!!!

I was thinking about arriving in London on the 12th as well but haven't finalised anything yet.

so is ths your first contiki trip?

Its my first Contiki tour but one of my frineds went on one a couple of years ago and loved it so I thought I would give it ago.

I have done a fair bit of travelling though, I have just recently spent 6 months in New York, I spent a month in Brazil and I been to Gambia and planning on doing a year in NZ when i graduate in 2010. What about you, is this your first Contiki??

What are you doing after contiki, going back to NZ or doing a bit more travelling??

How much are you planning on taking as spending money?? I really dont know how much to take, I want enough so I can do things if I want to and not have to say no because I cant afford it. In total i think it will be around £3000 im just hoping the Euro goes down by the summer so i get more for my money. Anyway enough about the boring stuff!!!

Any particular countries that you cant wait to visit and any or the tours you want to do?? I would like to do the bike riding in Amsterdam that sounds pretty cool and cant wait to do Rome. Well really I cant wait to do all of it its gunna be a really good 6 weeks.
