Hi Everyone!
First of all, Congratulations on booking the 32 Camping tour departing on 21st of April. Let me introduce myself. My name is Jason, I work as a European Tour Guide for Contiki Holidays. Why am I contacting you? Well it just so happens I am the lucky Tour Manager assigned to this particular 32day Camping Tour! I’m not sure if you have been keeping an eye of current European events, but as always, the Continent is bustling with activity, indicating an action packed Summer for 2009. The temperatures are starting to rise, in all major cities, while major refurbishments and restoration work has been completed. Even better, the Campsites have once again opened their gates for our arrival! While my schedule is quite demanding for the remaining days leading up until our departure, I will endeavor to answer as many of your questions before this date. Please leave the questions below. Again I will endeavor as best as possible to respond to these queries. For now, I wish you all a festive and HAPPY EASTER! See you in 11 Days! (Woo hoo!) Cheers! HI Jason
I have a question 1.What kind of power adapters can I use on the coaches to charge my phone/ camera? Although a lot of information is available on the website I am still unclear if a two pin (American which can take up to 240V) needs a converter/ adapter in Europe ( other than UK etc. where a 3 pin is needed) Looking forward to meeting everyone! Jai |

Hi Jai,
Regarding your question; the power outlets are of Type C, otherwise known as the Europlug. The outlet consists of two rounded holes in a central location. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Europlug) Considering you will be traveling to Europe, this is the standard for almost everywhere we will be traveling, so its a good idea to buy an adapter before you leave. A “converter” is not usually required unless your are using a unique device requiring higher than normal current. My suggestion is buy two, they seem to be those items that end up ‘misplaced’ or ‘hey that’s mine’ – especially after a long night on the beverages! Hope that helps, See you tomorrow night!! Cheers!
