Yeah, it's not sounding too good for the breakfasts. I had a practice run at packing last week - and I was totally kidding myself to think the wheeled backpack would work...it's WAY too small. Now taking a wheeled suitcase which is the maximum dimensions for the trip! I'm thinking of just taking a normal (big) size shampoo etc - what about you?

Hi Jess & girls, I found most places generally had 3 sizes in wheeled suitcases. The large one of the 3 was usually max dimension allowed, that's what one I got. Sharby, It prob comes down to preference. No doubt it'd be heaps easier to carry a backpack up & down stairs at hotels - but I couln't handle the limited access to my stuff without taking it all out & repacking it. For me, a suitcase will be easier to manage. Dziner, we want to do lots of the activity type optionals - & maybe only some of the dinners. I've hears mixed reviews about the restaurant nights out, and I think that maybe half the fun will be occasionally finding a little local restaurant for a more authentic experience. Not too sure really though!

yeah I know what you mean about the mixed reviews Mel it's hard to know whether they are going to be worth it or not. We are definately going to do the Moulin Rouge optional though LOL. One of our suitcases is just over 25cm deep but the other measurements are all under...I have read quite a few comments that they are more worried about the weight, unless of course the case is obviously way over those dimensions. I noticed they say to take a small overnight bag for the overnight ferry crossing - anybody taking something extra or just going to use your daypacks? Went to a greek themed night at a restaurant the other night and it was heaps of fun with the dancing and plate smashing LOL ohh and the free ouzo and flaming black sambuca shot didn't hurt either hehehe
