hi, just looking at both contiki and trafalga tours for egypt not sure which one is the go for me yet, just wondering why nath you chose contiki and why will and silivia chose trafalga. also wat flights are you getting to cairo, it might be a bit scary over there so if i could get on the same flight as one of you that would be good.

We picked contiki, because a friend said it was good as well as it uses the same cruise boat and hotel etc as the others anyway and there will be no kids or oldies to slow you down because lots of walking around, Also we are on a time limit and it starts only a couple of days after the europe trip, we are flying emerates to egypt via dubai as we are having a stop over on the way back to australia, leaves london on the 24th july (day after Tour)and gets to cairo on the 25th july in time for the tour without booking any extra nights in cairo. Our flight is EK10 & EK927 cost you return from london about $1000 but there lots of discount airlines around

not long to go now. gemma i chose to do the trafalgar option because it went for longer than the contiki one did, also instead of doing an overnight on a train they fly you direct to luxor as well. with having more time to do the tour it means that even if there are oldies that can't keep pace most of the time, you still see all that you would with contiki, just at a more relaxed pace. i've booked my flight with british midland (BD771)which departs london at 9:15am on the 28th of july, either way i think that while you are that close it would be a shame to miss out on that expericnce with either tour company.

cool thanks guys for the info, yeah definately agree that seen as im that close it would be a shamen to miss egypt. so i will book it this week. think i may go the contiki with you nath, seen as im also on a time restraint. damn it wish i could get more holidays. anyways so close now cant wait and nice to meet you Amanda.
