I was just reading the Europe Travelers Guide 2008 that came with the Contiki itinerary, and it looks like the pre-departure meeting is at 6:00pm in the London Coffee (the courtyard of the Royal National Hotel) Saturday evening. I'll be there!

I just found this forum - fantastic way to meet people before the trip!

I am also on the tour. Kelly - good to see another Victorian on the trip!! I'm from Melbourne (currently on a 6 month secondment to Brisbane for work until January) and am flying into London on the 6th September and staying at the Royal National as well!

I'm single and also travelling solo. This is my first trip to the UK/Europe and i'm really excited (12 sleeps to go!).

Welcome aboard Tiff

So.... 6:00pm Saturday the 6th of September we all have a tour meeting at the London Coffee (the courtyard of the Royal National Hotel). I read somewhere the tour meeting goes for about an hour.

SO.... All the people we are going to spend the next month with will be there. ON A SATURDAY NIGHT! IN THE MIDDLE OF LONDON!

TALK ABOUT PERFECT!!!

After the tour meeting there is no way we can pass up a saturday night in london. I hope everyone feels the same way.
