I’m booked on the European Explorer plus Greek Island Cruising tour, departing London on the 19th July 2009. I will be in London from the 11th of July 09.
I’m doing the tour by myself and would love to meet anyone travelling on the same tour and would love to make some new friends!!

I'm on the same tour and a solo traveller also.
I'll be spending a few days checking out London before hand too. Have you been to Europe before?? I've done a bit of travelling but never to Euro. This is also my first Contiki... I usually just buy a Lonely Planet and jump on a plane. Oh and just FYI... I'm a 30 year old female. I'll be 31 by the time the tour starts. (I'm actually a bit worried about the age thing!!)

Awesome. I have been to London and Paris before, but this will be the first time I have travelled through europe. I'm 23 at the moment but when the tour starts I will be 24. I dont think the age thing will be a problem. When I'm in London im hoping to see a few of the other attractions I didnt see last time and catch some west end shows too.

Hi im also going by myself, although im booked for the 21st june-23rd july (sure you guys arnt going then? rather than the 19th july??) anyways im 24 and my name is gemma, dont think the age thing is an issue and ive also never done anything like this before. should be great!

Ill only be 18 so my first contiki feels weird that yous are older but hopfully its gonna be all good!

I'm booked on this trip as well with the cruise option. I'm also traveling solo and it's my first Contiki. I'm 22 and from Melbourne.

Also I just wanted to double check. I was told that I don't need any Visa's, is this correct?

I'm pretty sure that you don't need any Visas, at least not that we've been told!!

There are quite a few Aussies going on this trip so far, which is great :-). For some reason I didn't think that there would be many.

From the website it looks like its still possible to book place on the trip - its not even showing as almost full. They also seem to have halved the number of trips from weekly departures to fortnightly.
