Hi-
I'm having a really tough time deciding between the Ultimate European plus Egypt and the European Explorer. One of the big differences between the two are the accomedations of European Explorer being superior. If anyone has been on the tour before, how far are the hotels from the downtown/city areas and how nice are the hotels?

According to someone from the Ultimate European you have to travel a couple miles/kms after you party it up downtown to get back to where the CABINS are. I suppose I could sacrifice comfortable sleeping to see Egypt, Thermopylae, and Troy-but is it going to destroy the night aspect of the trip having to travel by taxi?

Basically what I am asking-can you stumble back to the hotels in most of the big cities without having to take a riddiculously long cab ride while on the European Explorer? Thanks!
