Has anyone recieved their itinerary yet?

Also- is anyone else at the Imperial on the 3rd? or are you guys all staying at the Royal National?

Nope I haven't received my itinerary either but am hoping I will get it soon. I was told we should be getting it about 4 weeks before we go which is obviously now. It will start to seem more real when we get our itineraries.

So Izze and I are confused. Off the contiki website, it says the European Explorer kicks off on May 2, 2008 - Jun. 05, 2008. Where is everyone getting the info for the tour happening on May 4 - Jun 5. If you have a link can you post it.

Hey! I was confused too.. when i talked to the travelcuts guy he explained to me that if you look at the dates it says May 2nd- but then if you look at what day one and 2 are in our guide books they are actually flying/ arriving in london.. so day 3 is may 4th... and thats when all the people not from canada are told it starts.

I think this is why we were so confused on facebook... You also have the night on the 3rd included at the Imperial (because the way we book it comes with it) But wait until this week when the itinerary comes out to confirm it all.

I just checked out your link you posted and it actually says that the tour does start on May 4th. So I'm not exactly sure what dates you were looking at.

The tour we are on definately departs London on May 4th. However most people will be arriving a day or two beforehand. I am leaving Australia on May 2nd and will arrive in London on May 3rd. So like Ali has explained you may have been told that day one and two in your guide books are actual London arrival dates rather than the actual beginning of the tour.

I have posted the link of where I'm getting my dates from but like I said the link you posted is the same and says we depart London on May 4th.

I think I will be arriving in London on the Sat about lunch time but am keen to catch up prior to the pre tour meeting. Will be great to meet up with everyone.
I was also hoping most of us will head to a local pub after the meeting. Just so we can all relax, have a few drinks and get to know everyone.

If anyone would like to meet up, Vince and I will be arriving in around 10:30 am on May 3rd. So if anyone would like to meet up around 3 pm in the lobby of the Imperial (I'm assuming that's the hotel were all staying at)...we can all get together and get to know each other!

Hey Izze, i reckon it's a great idea to meet up the day before. I'm free all that day, so 3pm at the Imperial sounds good. I'm at the Royal National but it doesn't look like it's too far away. Keep us all posted closer to the date. Only 3 weeks to go people!!!!

Sounds like a plan! Vince and I should be confirming our hotel by next week, if were at Royal National too perhaps we can meet there instead. I just assumed that we were staying at Imperial because everyone kept mentioning it!

But 3 pm, lobby time sounds like a go! More details to come for the actual hotel to meet.

I would love to meet up with everyone before the trip. I arrive may 2nd at 6am, I'm staying at the Royal National.
