Hey all this is my first contiki tour I can wait and i don't have long till I leave,
I was wondering if there is any thing/key tips I should know, do or take with me before I leave I'm trying to remember every thing!! ... so stressful
I can't wait tho .. so exciting!!

I'm booked on this tour as well. Only about a month to go now! How exciting!! It's my first contiki tour (and overseas trip) too so I'm stressing a little over packing etc too. I'm a terrible packer....don't know how I'm going to stay under the 20kgs! lol! I think I'm going to do a few practice packs before I leave. They say to pack what you think you need then take half out. I figure if I forget anything I'll just buy it over there. Have a read of the travelogues on here. Some of them have a few tips on packing (and general tour tips). I think I'm going to re read a few of them as I read them a while ago.

As for the money, I'm still undecided on what I'll take. I'll probably take a travelex cash passport, visa debit card and a credit card as well as some cash to get me started. Take at least 3 forms of payment incase you loose one, or it gets stolen or if the atnm chews it up. It's always good to have a back up so you're not stranded.

I'm doing the greek island cruise option as well. Can't wait...It's going to be awesome!!

So where are you from? When do you get into London?

im taking the correct sized bag... make sure ur bag is not bigger than the standards. i think it 29*20*10 inches.

u should have space in the bag to fit a pillow when u start ur trip. i have travelled before and thats what i aim for. i can fit a pillow in and when ur about to leave after ur trip it will be full and u keep the case and throw out the pillow.

im taking about 6 sets of summer clothes 1 jacket and a few sets of jeans and planning on buying more whilst traveling. a towel a few swimmers and thongs

hey thanks guys, yer I've got a travlex cash passport debit card is really good have used it before .. I'm bringing a beach towel as well .. a pillow you think??? humm thats very clever.. yer was really careful with picking the dimensions of my luggage.. should be ok..
I'm from Perth-australia, i get in to London the day before the tour I'm staying at the Royal National Hotel.
i was thinking more about spending money... how much do you's think you'll need cash wise? .. i have about $5500 saved and $3000 on my credit card .. should that be enough?

im from newcastle in australia, but when i return im moving to melb with my new job .

well im going with 1000 euros a week if u really wanna enjoy ur holiday. so that is plenty and ull have extra money for presents.

i leave in less than 20 hours... so ill see you all over there
