Getting excited now.
My suitcase is about 17kg but I'm sure I'll think of a few more things to add at the last minute. Still afraid that I haven't packed enough cold weather stuff....

To all the girls: last time I did contiki all the girls ankles swelled up from sitting on the bus for long periods of time and it wasn't pretty...so I am investing in some of those support socks that help circulation. Just an idea!

i havent really packed alot of cold weather stuff due to the fact that we arent really going anywhere that cold. i have leather jacket and jeans for coldness, but thats all. my girlfriend who helped with my trial pack suggested that you pack with layering in mind, so thats what i have done, if that helps you

Hi Kath,
I know the forecast seems really hot but I travelled around the same time a few years ago and from munich onwards some days were freezing and I was not prepared. I'm bringing a warm jumper and my leather jacket just to be safe. Picked up my docs today so I am going to check out the hotels tonight - so excited now - finding it hard to concentrate at work.

we have done the same thing as you and checked out the hotels online
i am having trouble sleeping. am waking up just before 6am for the past few days, at least i will be prepared for early mornings i am a morning person anyway.
can't wait to see you all the night before the tour starts, or maybe we might bump into each other before hand as we are having 2 nights at royal national. of those who have joined the facebook page, donno sounds like he is having fun there already. have a read of his posts
