We have just booked "We will rock you" for Thursday night 28th - woo hoo!! We are also thinking about doing a "Windsor, Stonehenge and Bath" tour on Friday as we won't have time on the way home. Has anyone booked any London tours yet?

My name is Jasmine, from Cairns (originally Adelaide), and am 22 yrs old. Heading on the tour with my friend Chelsea from Perth (21) and we are soooo pumped!
We both are London and Contiki first timers so any tips would be appreciated (have chosen mykonos).
Arriving in London the morning before the tour starts, as our flights don't connect anymore so we get to stay in Brunei for 2 days.
We are both planning on doing as much as possible, partying as much as we can, seeing as many sights as we can, and just having an awesome time!!
Cant wait to meet everyone!

Funny you should mention that about Royal Brunei, I'm flying with them as well and I had the opposite happen - I was due to have a 2 day stopover on the way home and they changed so I have a flight straight through?! Weird haha
Anyway, 20 days until I fly out now - I've got all my documents and a loose itinerary for my extra time in and around England. Only just over a month until our tour starts!

it's my last week in Aus til April so it's all starting to actually hit me that i'm goin to Europe. But at the same, i CANT WAIT!!!!

Flying out on Sunday to Singapore then London and it's going to...be...crazy..! And less than a month til our tour. You should all brace yourselves to put up with me and my madness, haha.

i spoke to my neighbours son this morning briefly, he just got back from a contiki tour (not sure at this point which one he was on). he mentioned the long bus rides. i dont think he read up before he left. he didn't have an ipod so found some of the bus rides difficult. plus he had a couple of big nights which was followed the next day with big bus rides, lol.
i will be going to have a bigger chat with him at some point this week before he goes back to sydney. will fill you in after.

I'm going to have an ipod, a book, a PSP and whatever else I can think of for the bus!! I've spent the last two weeks making sure that my Ipod is loaded with ALL of my CD's...

Yeah, the more I keep saying to people how soon it is, the more I realise I've still got to get done. I thought I'd complicate things by buying a house, and settlement is due to happen this week - so I'm stressing out big time hahah

as another hot tip (only for those interested,wink) is to keep your sleep mask from the plane to use on the bus. at the least it will keep your poor tired eyes from the sun through the windows if your feeling a bit average

Hi Justin, I'm just getting into running so I doubt I'd keep up! My husband might be up for it though. With all the food and wine we'll be consuming I'm sure I'll need to do something!

I've just been catching up on all the conversation... Alison and Donno - thanks for those thread suggestions! I found them really helpful, and as per suggestions will be bringing plenty of hand sanitising gel with me!

15 days till I get on the plane!... right with you Kath - excited and nervous now!

Haha, I've been saving up those little wet wipes from KFC and Red Rooster for months!! I'm not sure that I've got enough to get me through the trip so I'll probably invest in some liquid stuff as well...

I'm a bit late in joining this post... but I'm going on the August 31 tour and I can not wait!!!!! My name's Callie and a 22-year-old from Adelaide. I was originally meant to be going on the August 16 tour, but that got cancelled so here I am on this one! It's my first time to both London and Europe and I'm travelling alone, so I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone!

i did a trial pack last night with one of my girlfriends that has travelled alot over the years. and i am happy to say that i have my bag weighing 17kgs!!!!!!!!!!!!! hooray
has anyone got their itinerary yet? we got an email today saying that ours will be ready on monday
