My name is Krystal, and I'm from Perth in Western Australia. I will be 22 by the time the tour starts. I'm about to book this tour and just thought i'd check to see the other people going. I'll be travelling solo also, and flying into London about a week before the tour. I was just wondering if anyone is planning on hanging around in Europe/UK for a while after Contiki. Hi I am going on the 20/5 date for 2007. I am travelling on my own. Have not been to any part of europe before. I have only travelled alone once before and that was a group tour to thailand and vietnam. Looking forward to seeing varous parts of europe and meeting new people as well.

Hey Everyone. As I mentioned in a different post, myself and four other guys are also going on the European Explorer trip on May 20 2007.

We will all be graduating from the University of Akron. Our ages range from 22 - 26. We are looking forward to meeting everyone, touring the countries, and having a great time. Lastly, we plan on flying in to London a day early and will be departing from Amsterdam.

I have heard from Kayla and Krystal and look forward to meeting everyone else soon.

We made a website specifically for the people going on the European Explorer on May 18-June 22 2007

My friends are a group of 5 guys graduating college and looking to give ourselves a big sendoff. It'll be crazy....

The first thing you'll need to do is register a username. It doesn't ask you for any personal info, just an email address (which you can hide if you want to.) Click on the "General Discussion" link and it'll have the postings listed. From there, you can post a new topic, post a poll for people (like what city are they most excited about) and a few other things.

The website is brand new, so if you have any problems with it, go to the Contact Us page and email Brandon. He's the one who created the site. He can take care of pretty much anything.

We're really excited about this trip and think that finding out a little about the people we're travelling with beforehand will just make the trip that much more fun and memorable.

It is nice to see that some fellow females will on the tour - I was beginning to think it was going to be a bunch of guys.

Are you ladies having as many probelms as I am when trying to decide what to pack?

I have been on the website set up and it is pretty neat. My hat is off to Brandon for setting it up. Hopefully it will catch on as we get closer to the trip.

Kayla i am having sooo much trouble!
I have absolutely no idea, and whats worse i am arriving on a one way ticket for a 2 year working holiday! Some people say May is still a little cold so bring a jacket, others say you wont need one its not that bad. I think i will prbably just pack 3/4 sleevs shirts, going out clothes, stuff for the Greek Island cruise etc. No doubt i will change my mind again when i think about it next though!

I am also just wonderig when everybody gets into London? I arrive at Heathrow at 5.30am on the 17th from Perth via Singapore. Is anyone else arriving a day or two early?

I could not imagine trying to pack for that long. I was debating whether or not to do the cruise but I figured by that point I would really just want to relax and lay around.

My flight gets into Heathrow at 1135am on the 17th its a direct flight from Edmonton. I wanted to try and catch a show that night, I'm also planning on taking a trip to Bath and Stonehenge on the 18th. What hotel are you staying at? I will be at the Royal National.

I will be at the Royal National too! I was thinking i would do something like that as well. A hop on hop off tour around London also came to mind since i will be in London for 2 days. I would definitely like to go to a show though!
