Just wondering if anyone is doing the european explorer either 31st aug-oct 2 or sep 7-oct 9 2008? we are doing the time out one. looking forward to seeing the response.

We are a couple. after reading lots on these forums, i wouldnt be worried travelling alone, be excited. its 258 days to go till our trip, haha. where are you from?. can i ask your age?

I am excited but its my first time going anywhere out of Australia so thats a little scary!! Can't wait though I'm sure we'll have a fantastic time!

What does "the timeout tour" mean?

the time out tours are the ones that you stay in hotels every night, not camping or contiki villages. you are paying more for comfort and privacy.

Which option did u guys choose? I'm doing the cruising option, thought that would be good to do. Its still 8 months away but I'm already really excited...hopefully the time will go quickly!!

I have also just booked for the 31st August, and I will be travelling alone too.

It's going to be my first trip to Europe, and I'm pretty pumped for it already!

I'm 25 and from Perth as well.

Looking forward to it all! Oh, I chose the Mykonos option - heard great things about the place.

how exciting, at least its this year to count down from, instead of when i started counting last year, haha. we have choosen the mykonos option. figure we will be feeling a bit tired by day 16, haha. should be nice to just hang out for a few days and relax a bit. we have decided to have a stop over for 2 nights in singapore instead of doing the flight straight to london. we are doing the same thing on the way home at the end of the tour. oh and also we are having 2 days before and after the tour in london to do our own thing. what are you guys doing in regards to before and after tour?

I get to London 12 days before the tour, and will probably meet up with a cousin in Liverpool and try to get to Ireland in that time. After the trip I've got about a week in London and few nights in Brunei on the way home, just to break the travel up a bit.
