Hi Sarah and Natalie

I am staying at the Royal National for 5 nights after the trip. I didn't really look into staying at a hostel, the Royal National is pretty cheap and from what I've heard it's pretty basic accommodation anyway. Plus I thought it would just be easier with the Contiki tour starting and ending there (less chance of me getting lost!). Are most people staying at the Royal National?

Hey Guys,

I'm Matt and I have just booked and am so looking forward to travelling through Europe with you all!

I'm 32 from Sydney, so a little on the older scale of things (probably the oldest so far in here, eek!!) but looking forward to getting to know you all!

I'm spending three days in London before and after the tour!

I'm a mate of Russell's (he's posted above), so we're definitely keen to catch up with the Sydney crew before we go in June!!

Cheers,

Matt.

Hi Ryan and Matt! Good to see more people on this tour.

Sarah, I get into London on the 21st June at around 6am but check-in at Royal National isn't until 2pm so I will be hanging around London trying to stay awake! I was planning on heading downstairs to the Contiki Basement sometime that afternoon. I'm not sure if there a set time for when we all meet. Does anyone know anything about this?

I'm also on Facebook if anyone wants to say hi http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1132590505 Ryan I'll look you up.

Only 108 days to go, almost into double digits! Bring on June! Smiler

I'm so excited for this trip! It's like the only thing I can think about.
Sarah- I plan to go to the Basement pretty much as soon as I get to London, and then I'm going to to wander around and try to see as much of the city as I can.

Matt- Thanks for making a facebook group! I just joined it!!!

Can't wait to meet you all! Has anyone started to think about the packing situation... I'm a little nervous?

Excellent.. we've got 6 members in the facebook group now.. that took off pretty quick!!

Packing.. I haven't even thought about it until now.. oh no!! I went to Africa a couple of years ago for five weeks, I knew what to expect though re: weather, so not 100% sure on Europe.. will have to do some research!!

Laura- you and i have the same plan haha hopefully it won't be to hard to find my way around london alone. And packing is probably going to be a little tricky since it has to be a specific weight.
But I did find this so hopefully it helps

I'm staying at the Royal National June 20&21 and July 24-27 so will be looking for a few partners in crime to take in the sights and maybe a few cold bevvies along the way - I'm sure I don't have to ask for any takers! (Ryan you know you're on the top of my list of drinking buddies!)

Laura I agree with the packing situation! How are us girls going to cope?! I think basics with accessories that can be worn with everything is the way to go.

Random question but does anyone know if this tour goes to the Moulin Rouge in France? (I reallly hope so!) I've heard some tours do and others go to a cheaper show...
