Naomi I'm booking the Royal National through my travel agent. Also, don't worry about age because even though I'm 23 a lot of my friends are 30ish and none of us even notice the age difference! We're all going to have an awesome time and age is completely irrelevant!

Hi everyone! I booked this tour too last week. I'm 21 from NSW travelling solo.

I'm planning on staying back in London for 5 nights after the tour ends. Anyone else thinking the same?

Not too far away now, only 123 days to go...but who's counting? Razzer

hey Sarah

its probably best to get your travel agent to organise your transfer from the airport to your hotel..but its up to you
or if you read up in the contikipedia section of this website it will give you other options..cause i think you can catch the train too..

hope that helps

I was a bit worried about getting from Heathrow airport to Russell Square but found this article:http://contiki.com.au/contikipedia/articles/heathrow-airport-london A guy at work who went last year recommended the Heathrow Express, it only takes 20 minutes. But I was also warned that there are lots of stairs around the train stations, not good with luggage (I must keep that in mind when packing!)

Angela I'm from Griffith. I'm not at all surprised if you've never heard of it before, not a very big place!

Sounds like there are a quite a few planning on staying back. It's good to see so many friendly people on this tour, can't wait until June! Smiler

Hi Amy I'm planning on spending 4 nights in London after the tour as well. The first night I'm staying at the Royal National and the other 3 nights I haven't decided yet. Does anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking of maybe staying at a hostel but not sure how dodgy they are!

hi natalie
i was told that a single bed in a hostel can cost pretty much the same as most hotels depending on the hostel
as far as i know they aren't to bad again it depends on the hostel
another problem is availability. hostels can get pretty full
