Me and my friend are planning on going on the European Explorer in the beginning of May 07. This is both our first time travelling by ourselves. We are planning on making the most of it. It's all we can do to stop talking bout it. Hope to hear from other peeps planning on doing this tour.We are looking forward to meeting different people from around the world

Yah the European Explorer, I haven't decided if I will do the first or second departrue in May. I have been to London in May and the earlier you go the colder/more rainy it is. I haven't booked yet - I am waiting until the new brochures are out - should be mid October. Are you going to do the cruise or the Mykonos option? How old are you and your friends?

I am wanting to do the Mykonos option just because I have never been on a cruise before and just sort of want to relax for a bit. Now I'm not too sure about when I am going. It is either going to be in May or June. Both of my friends can't go at the same time so I'm the one stuck in the middle. What month do you think would be best (ie weather and expenses) I will be 20 and my friends are 19. If you have any suggestions on what is abetter time to go let me know.

I will be travelling in May just because it is a bit of a lower season and with work it's pretty well the only month I can take off and there are usually not as busy - the summer months is when it will be warmer - but a lot of people travel to Europe during the summer. It's a toss up. I hope that helps a bit but both times will be great!

I've just booked the 6th May tour. I too will be travelling alone and am happy to know i will not be the only one going it alone. I have also booked to do the Great Britain Sothern Ireland tour b4 this tour. Is anyone doing both or has done the two together?

i just can't wait till next year rolls around... i've been saving for such a long time, i never thought i would actually get there. can't wait to have a time to remember!!

i have booked myself in for the May 6th departure of the exlorer. I chose the Mykonos option, mainly cause i have dreamed of going to greece for soo long and i want time to explore.. the cruise sounds too rushy.. plus more expensive! I am working/travelling australia right now... looking forward to the contiki tour though! will be a blast. I am also travelling on my own! I am 23, how old are the rest of you? I chose the triple share option, so i will be paired up with 2 other girls. be nice to get to know some of the other people who will be on this tour. from what i hear, the london weather will be kinda crap (but they arent exactly known for their weather) but the rest of the places are supposed to be beautiful. A europe book my roomie has says that may is the best time to travel is all the coutries we are going to!! Talk to you all soon

I've just booked the 6th May - 7th June 07 tour (Mykonos option), really looking forward to it. Will be my 1st time travelling Europe, will be travelling solo. Will be my 3rd Contiki (have done USA & New Zealand). Anyone arriving in London early? I'm doing the 4 night check out London thing prior to the tour.
