I was wondering if anyone knew if the extra excursions in Egypt were credit card payable? I am going to Egypt in Feb and just wondering if I should do credit card or cash.

You can pay cash or credit card, they take payment for the optionals on the first night.

It depends on your TM but I would bank on it being local currency only. Just be prepared. Thats the one thing I do wish contiki would let us pay at time of booking. Would be nice.

everyone who I know who has taken the egypt tour has been able to pay in cash (USD or Egyptian Pounds), credit card or travelers cheque. It's operated differently then the rest of the european tours and actually managed by a different company.
