My Best Friend and I are heading on this tour and we leave Australia on the 21st, so think we get in on the 23rd- we then leave on the 1st of November, staying in Singapore on the way home.

Eh, that is going to be a long flight. It will be worth it though. Would you two be interested in a trip over to Alexandria after the tour? I'm going on this tour solo, so I would be kind of nervous wandering around by myself.

I did find some trips that take you to the town of Fayoum. Its about 47 miles south of Cairo. It wont really take up a whole day, but it does look rather interesting.

i would really like to see if a day-trip is possible to head over to Sinai, would love to check out Mt Sinai.

Ah, the summit where Moses was said to have received the ten commandments. That would be neat to check out.

We only really have the last day of our tour, 31st Oct, where tour finishes at Brekkie to do a day tour if anyone is interested? Or the other thing I found on the net was sand-surfing and also quadbiking in the Sahara, that would be fun???

aww guys im so jealous! I just got back from this trip and to see you all counting down to it is so depressing!
You will have a blast... the overnight trains are the only bummers, and u just have to drink all night to get thru it but otherwise it is so freakin awesome!
