Hey just wondering if anyone will be joining me for this tour beginning on july 11th 2009??! Am soo excited but it feels like forever and a day away! cannot wait!
5! That is huge. What other ones are you planning on doing? I really want to hit up Turkey, Italy, Greece.... mainly the Mediterranean. I am pretty pumped though. Just trying to get everything in order and then I will book Egypt.
ohh no way!!! im doing greece and turkey as well. itd be awesome if if worked out to be the same! im doing spotlight on greece + 7 day cruise from the 22nd june to 3rd july. then turkish delight from 4th july till 11th july. then egypt 11th to 18th and then the eastern road from the 18th july to the 29th july. then on my way home i stop over at LA and do a 4 day tour there! but its amazing how my travel agent has been able to fit everything (flights and tours) in SO perfectly. nearly every time i finish one tour in the morning, fly out, and then start another that nite! so im hardly ever on my own which is what i was worried about. Where abouts are you from??
That is crazy! I don't know what it is about the Mediterranean... but I want to go real BAD.
Unfortunately my work does not finish until June 27th, so I will be unable to make it for the spotlight on Greece (even though it sounds amazing!). I am definitely interested in the Turkish Delight and the Egypt and Nile tour. I just have to get myself in order and then I will be booking some trips.

im from melbourne australia, and yep, im a full time student you might want to get a hurry on in getting yourself in order, my travel agent told me that because its the high season over there, this tours book out pretty quickly!! Anyway, good luck with it all and like i said, let me know if you do end up booking any of the tours!
Have you heard anything about how much party goes on on these trips? Don't get me wrong parying is awesome... but so are the pyramids.... I have read some intereting things about contiki tours, but I don't know anyone who has ever been on one. What do your friends have to say about the tours?
yeah ive heard that too.. but my mates said that on every tour theres always the party animals and those who prefer to get the early nights. Theres always going to be a mix. Its not like you'd HAVE to head out every nite. I defintely wont be! as much as i'd love to, a wont have the money. i also dont function properly without a proper nights sleep! but do remember Contiki is aimed at 18-35 yr olds so you cant really expect anything less!
Oh I figured there would be a mix.. but I have read some pretty interesting things... so I was a wee bit hesitant. I actually got a really interesting post from someone else concering this same topic.... Now I am a little more hesitant.
