You should definately consider it just bite the bullet.... i had a girlfriend do the Europe one by herself and she is the one who has talked me into doing this tour-im really passionate about travel and have always wanted to go to Egypt.
You will meet heeps of people including me as i am also travelling alone-im travelling onto england after to meet up with family....hope you can come to Egypt talk to you soon

My sister and I just made our final payment for the November 10 tour! We are from Quebec, Canada. Don't worry, we also speak english! We are very excited about this trip. We will be going to Switzerland after the Egypt tour...Yes I know it's weird but the airline ticket was so cheap...so why not? See you in november!

Well Melissa, it looks like we actually may have some people going on this tour! hahaha. Like I said though, Contiki said there were at least 10 people on the tour so that's pretty cool.

I hope all the people who are considering this tour are going to go. Like I've said in other forums, I'm a travel agent and I've had people go to Egypt before and they cant stop talking about it. Honestly, it's a once in a lifetime trip. So all of you on the fence, JUMP OVER! =)

Hope to meet more of you on the tour.

Just think, 7 weeks from now we'll have all met each other and be on our way to the Pyramids...sweet.

Wow this is so awesome i have been so busy at work so havent been in the forum for a while and i came on today and its so exciting to see all these people considering to do this trip is just the best thing in the world.
Im counting down the days till our trip-anymore going via Dubai let me know we could be on the same flight.

I have recently done the egypt & nile tour and I must say it was the best trip ever. Everybody was so friendly and you guys will have a blast there. Egypt is a very hot place so expect some heat. A word of advice to all, dont go wondering on your own in the streets, you get hassle everywhere you go from the street vendors and the kids there. Also do every optional you can it will surely make your trip more memorable. Besides that just have fun

Hey guys, Matt again. Everyone getting ready? I know I am....this is gonna be incredible.

Wanted to tell you, I went on Yahoo today looking for pictures from other people who may have taken the Contiki Egypt trip before and found this website from a guy who went to Egypt with Contiki back in 2004. It's cool because it gives you an idea of what the train rooms, ship, etc. looks like and he did a lot of the excursions. Check it out, it's worth it just to get excited about it!
