Hi My Partner and I have booked Egypt and the Nile on these dates for our Contiki tour and was interested to chat to anyone else doing this date????

Yeah I heard as long as your with a group you wont get hassled too much by guys there. We are arriving the day before just to get settled in and everything. When the trip ends we are going to Alexandria for 3 nights. Do u know what the weathers like in oct?

I heard the weather is good in October, one of the better months to go, similar to May! Should be good. Are you staying at the Contiki hotel for the pre tour night?

yip we are I think we arrive in cairo at 6.40am the day before the tour starts.

Sweet, I get in at about midnight on the 17th, so get the whole day on the 18th, I think the welcome meeting is usually at night, so a good day to see some extra sights!

Hey yall. I am thinking about bookin this tour as well. From Tennessee if I do I'll arrive on the 16th so I'll have a couple days before the tour starts. Hope its gonna be fun.

I am flying back to Vancouver on the 27th of October, so I will have the 25th and 26th to do some extra sighseeing..I would love to go Alexandria, as the tour doesn't go there and I read some postings and someone sugested going on the 18th during the day to see the Great Pyramids and Sphinx for some time, as the tour stop is quick there...Can't wait to meet everyone and have a great adventure!

We just waiting to see wats happening with our flights because it seems everyone in New Zealand goes to Egypt in Oct and we are waitlisted for the flights, but all going well we will be arriving 1 day before and staying another 4 nights after the tour ends, I think we r going to catch train to cairo for a few days. We are so excited!!! Kristy wat do you plan on wearing while over there??

I'm not sure, I think I will pack light! If possible hahaha.

Hey yall. Alright I am booked to go. Seems as though it is going to be a full trip. I know its not confirmed yet but they travel agent I went through called and said its totally booked with reservations they just have to put their deposits. So hopefully it'll be good. But I'm gettin there the 16th around 4pm stayin at contiki hotel.
