I'm thinking about going on this tour but haven't booked it yet. Has anyone else booked flights to or accomodation in Cairo yet ?? If you have how long before the tour starts are you arriving? If i go i'll be travelling alone so i'm not so sure about when i should arrive, i'm not too keen on the idea of hanging around in Cairo for too long alone

Hey everyone....I'm hoping to book this tour. Are there any other girls travelling alone? Haven't a clue what to bring. Anyone done a tour like this before? If anyone wants to chat on facebook you can find me under Val Kavanagh (i'm the one sticking my tongue out!!).
My friend and I are from Langley, just outside of Vancouver! Where abouts are you from?
I will also be travelling around before the egypt trip! Im heading to london, poland, france, italy, and greece but I head home after the egypt trip. Im excited!!!
I was on this Tour last December and we arrived a day early. There are lots of things you can do if you get there early and there were other people who were going to be on the tour that were there early also.
The hotel is in Giza but they have a bus that takes you into the center of Cairo and from there you can take a cab or even the metro to get around the city. The only scary thing about Cairo is crossing the street, you'll need to do some fancy footwork to get across.
