Is anyone else going or thinking of going on the Egypt trip starting February 1st? I am travelling solo, but this will be my 3rd Contiki trip so I am very excited!

I am looking at arriving in Egypt a week earlier and doing excursions to Alexandria, Sinai and the western desert with another company. Anyone interested in joining me?

I've already booked. I'm getting there about three days early and staying 4/5 days after the tour. The day the tour ends I'm planning to go up to Alexandria and spend at least one night there.

I'm by myself too, so I'm a bit nervous, but it's going to be great.

Hi. I actually decided to go with another tour company to do my Egypt trip. I found an Aussie company and their itinerary included more free time in Cairo, included the excursion to Abu Simbel and went on to Sinai and Dahab - all in all more what I was looking for and a better deal.

Hiya! I have just signed up for the Egypt & the Nile 1-10 February! At the time of booking, I was told there were about 20-25 people already signed up. I'm really excited but also a little nervous as I'm doing this trip by myself. But it's a once in a lifetime opportunity so I'm going to try and enjoy every minute of it! Can't wait to meet you all!

Hiya Britt_ish, I'm from Canada but I am currently living in London. I'm taking the London to Cairo flight Saturday morning and arriving in Cairo Saturday afternoon. What about you?

I fly out of Perth, Australia and arrive in Cairo on Wednesday night/Thursday morning.

Wow, that must be a long flight. It's good that you've got a few days beforehand to explore. I get in Saturday afternoon and then fly out the following Sunday morning for my flight so unfortunately I'll miss the last breakfast. Our tour isn't that far away now... only two more weekends to go!
