Hello just a few questions for all those that have gone and seen the ancient wonders -

1)How much time do we get at the pyramids and at the Egyptian Museum roughly? and
2)Do you get to see the Luxor Temple, the Temple of Ramesseum and the temple of Queen Hatshepsut? 3)Do they give you enough time to explore sakkara and see the alabaster sphinx and the huge Ramses statue? or is it a hop off/ snap-a-pic- hop on type visit? please let me know. Thanks

1) Pyramids a couple of hours. Arrive early and arrange to go out there before the tour. I only say this in case you get crappy weather on the day the tour goes there or something happens (illness etc). I went before the tour and it was overcast, but when I went with the tour it was beautiful. You don't want to go all that way and risk your pics!
Egyptian museum you get a couple of hours but it's not long enough. Go again after the tour so you have an idea of the history and the good bits, you'll only need another hour or so but it's worth it.
2) Yes to the temples (however after a couple they all look the same anyway)
3) Saqqara has heaps of time and there's really not a lot to explore there anyway. But if you look hard there's a guy there who sells cool jewellery I didn't find anywhere else in Egypt. You get plenty of time there though. Not sure about the alabaster sphynx, I don't really remember. We saw the one at the pyramids and there's a stack of them scattered around Egypt, so you will definitely get your sphynx fix. Yes to Ramses.

We didn't really have any hop off/on visits on the whole tour, but for pics you'll want extra time at the pyramids on another day, and do another hour or so at the museum after the tour.
