Hello Everyone,
My partner and I are planing for this trip and are really excited about it. We are looking forward to hear back from other fellow travelers who are also planing for the same trip. I will be 35 next year "Dang" so this will be my last chance to take this trip via Contiki. Lets chat.
Sincerely
YW & NG (from California)

I'm still on the fence about booking this trip, I'll probably be going solo. I just got back from an Ireland/Germany/Austria trip last month and kept on running into people doing the contiki tour.

I have been studying a lot about Egypt and it seems like it would be a great trip. Especially going to Cairo, Aswan, Luxor.

Yep it looks great. I have booked and am really looking forward to the whole experience. It will be great to hear from others who are also coming on these dates. I am wondering how many people per tour?

By the way, I am Jenna and am from Australia Smiler

Hey all,

My friend and I will be doing this tour. We're from NYC. We are booked and extremely excited about going. I went on the Contiki Moroccan tour on my own and it was a great cultural experience. Looking forward to meeting everyone on this tour.

hi all,

It's great to hear from all of you. We will be booking this trip in few weeks. But for right now we are checking out other website for instance, Trafalgar.com & SunnyLandtours.com and just comparing their prices and itenaries with contiki.com. So far we have found that Trafalgar.com & SunnyLandTours.com has alot more selection to choose from as compare to contiki.
Hopefully, it shouldn't take us long time to make our final decision.

Trafalgar.com seems like they have good packages. I'm thinking about going to either south america or asia following this trip, and was dissapointed that contiki didn't have any tours.

I have decided to book this vacation btw. I'm 24/m from Philadelphia going solo. I'll be flying the egyptair direct flight from NYC on March 8th to get an extra day to relax after the dreaded 11 hour flight.

I'll look into the Trafalgar.com tours when I pass that 35 year mark (which is in a few years actually)...lol. I've been on those tours traveling through Asia and the chances of traveling with senior citizens is high. There is nothing wrong in traveling with them since I will be one one of these days but the energy level is totally different.

Anyway, my friend and I will be flying on the Eygptair from NY on the 9th. Sorry to miss ya Ed. Hope to see everyone there.

Chi,
You might be interested in seeing the king tut exhibit at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. It come's a month before the trip.

Tickets are expensive ($35 per,) but it includes admission to the rest of the museum.
