I've finally typed my journal up online. There's hundreds of photos too. Overall it was a fantastic trip which I highly recommend if you want to see a lot of places in a short space of time. If you want full days or a couple of days in one place then this tour isn't for you as we only stayed for 2 nights in Switzerland and Paris, and one night in all the other places. This is the budget tour as well and I found the accomodation to be better than expected. Mostly hostels which were really clean and in great locations, and cabins on campsites with good facilities.

Wow are you a photographer or something, those photo's are just amazing. hopefully get some time to read all the info behind the gorgeous photo's. Looks like you had a great time though.

Hey Sam, thanks for sharing your experiences. I agree with rikki - you take really good phots - nice effects selection; b/w, blur etc ... I guess you've been bitten by the Contiki bug now?

As for being bitten by the Contiki/travel bug I'm looking at heading over to Australia to meet one of my friends I met on tour, and then doing a Contiki tour over there in Aus or NZ.

I guess I need to save!

You are going to go snap crazy when you come to Australia, call me bias but australia is GORGEOUS so you will come away with some great photo's for your beautiful gallery.

Wow, what a fantastic write up of your trip. Im going on the Horizon tour in August and i was excited, but now i have read this i really cant wait. And the photos are awesome aswell.
