Hi, Im 23 from the UK.I'll be on this trip with two friends. As there is an odd number of us no doubt you'll prob be sharing a room with one of us!

Oh my god i am SOOOO excited! I'm leaving from canada on the 17th so i'll be there on the 18th. 22 DAYS!!! I cant process it. Trip of a lifetime. Anywyas, i'm glad that you guys all replied to my post. I was nervous the trip was gonna be half empty cause it wasnt guaranteed. Well it's guaranteed now so i'm really EXCITED.

Yeah. Im eager to get my tickets but we dont get them until something like 3 weeks before we go. I worry that everyone will go off and stay in there own groups and that no one will talk to each other. I hope it's not like that and we all manage to have fun together!

i know. i hope that wont be the case. we'll have lots of fun either way. and another thing, i hope our group will be half guys half girls, cause 22 days with all girls, that will be a MESS!! I guess i'll have to wait to know.... though i would love having lots of guys on the trip :P haha.

First purchase towards my trip so far....? A quick dry towel and a torch...Im such a geek. lol.

a torch??? why a torch? i haven't bought anything yet. money's tight after paying for the trip. I'll wait a few weeks :P

I once switched on a light in a hostel late at night but I was desparate to find something in my bag and I didnt realise I woke a number of people up in the room..Mind you I was rather drunk *ahem* but when I last went away the number of times I wished I had a travel torch as I was always looking for something like my ipod or toothbrush or whatever at night.

If you have friends who have travelled they might be able to lend you stuff like adaptors or backpacks. It might help if money is tight.

still? a torch doesnt sound right to me. i think you mean a flash light, right? i think we're talking about the same thing, just different terms. Here, a torch is sort of like a stick with fire at the end of it. Anywyas, yeah i'll probably be borowing some stuff from friends. I just paid the balance on the trip! :S... NO MORE MONEY!! anyways its for a good cause... for me anyways :P
