I am in the process of booking the trip. Was a bit of a spontaneous decision on my behalf so I am madly rushing around trying to organise everything! Where you from and when you thinking of getting to London? I've never been to the UK or Europe so I'm planning on spending a few days in London before the trip commences on the Thursday. Just want to see the major tourist sights of London as I guess thats all I will have time for. Looking forward to it!!
I book in abit of a rush to, saw cheap flights to London one day and decided to just do it, first time for me to Europe so im looking forward to it alot.
I arrive in london on the 24th so im there for 3 days b4 the tour and 7 days after crashing with afew of my sisters mates.
I'm from Australia. I plan to make it to London by the 25th May by that will be dependent on my flights. Im actually using Qantas staff travel to get to and from the UK so here's hoping I don't get offloaded along the way!! Think I'm going to establish myself at the Contiki Basement and go from there. Getting there on the 25th should give me at least 2 full days in London to explore. I've got to head straight back after the tour as I need to be back for work on the following Monday and with using staff travel I need all the time I can get to get home!
Ahh well good luck with that, would suck to be offloaded ay! at least its really cheap???
So you staying at the Royal before the tour? I was going to stay there but then found a much cheaper Hotel near by for only 35pound a night, so ill just be getting a Taxi to the Royal the morning the tour leaves...that should be me more money while on tour

ahhh...don't remind me about funds, i also wanted to do that tour but it does seem to cost a hell of a lot extra for only 5 days. I have been saving every penny i can...and with the New Zealand $ the way it is at the moment that sure isn't helping! i can only buy 0.35 pound and 0.39 euro with $1 NZ
iv actually just been talking to a friend..who at the moment has convinced me to get a credit card, and change my tour to the 25 day one....sooooo i may not be on this tour with you afterall! We'll see, i need to talk to my travel agent about how much it would cost to change tour and flight dates etc.
I am booked on this tour, and am so excited - counting down the days! I get into London early on the 27th and are staying at the Royal National the night before we leave.
