Hallo everyone,

I'm doing the European Experience leaving London on the 7th of August..
it'll be my first time ever overseas, and I'm goin by myself, and I
want to know who i'll be spending 20 days with, without them being
*complete* strangers, although that would be fun too. Its my birthday
while on tour, I'll be 19 on the 18th of August... which I'm pretty
sure is the following:

Day 12: Venice to Austrian Tyrol: Today
we leave Italy and travel over the spectacular Brenner Pass. Take the
opportunity to go white water rafting in the heart of the Austrian Alps
before a special welcome awaits at Contiki?s own Gasthof. Contiki Special Stopover (B,D)

So who else is going? I cant wait, it's all I can think about!!

Awesome :-) I'm not sure where I'm staying yet... it depends... I arrive in London on the 4th (from germany) and if my cousin is living in London at that time i'll be staying with her hehe. Otherwise... Im not sure what the difference is, I might stay at one of the hotels the night before the tour.

Ohhh yeah from perth to london the flight would be even longer than mine, you poor thing!... its about 20hours from Brisbane to Frankfurt. (I'm leaving here on the 28th of June and staying in Germany with my g'ma and my sister at my g'mas relatives houses for about a month)

Who are you flying with? I'm going Singapore airlines...apparently the best in-flight entertainment system there is.

Ive heard to pack what you want... then HALVE that and take whats left...i'm not sure either coz i want to pack everything! I got an ANZ everyday Visa Debit card so i can use the credit account overseas but its still my own money... and i'm going to get a few travellers cheques too... cover all bases. All my money will be in that account so *hopefully* I wont run out hehe.

wow that sounds awesome! wish my holiday was starting in June Smiler
i'm flying with Royal Brunei, i got a pretty cheap rate at a travel expo last year.
ive just signed up for a ANZ Visa Debit Card, i dont think i'm going to bother with traveller's cheques cos ive a credit card for emergencies (as in clothes/shoes etc hehe) which hopefully i wont have to use.

Thanks for your advice Smiler

Im doing Greek Islands with three of my mates, and only two of us are doing contiki afterwards.
Im just madly saving as much ca$h as possible so I dont have to worry about money once i am over there! Unfortunately our dollar doesn't really convert well against the euro haha...

Waaa it better not be cancelled :-S better not be full, either coz I was trying to convince my cousin to come with!! Haha but i'd rather it full than cancelled i suppose lol.

I started writing a list of things I cant forget to pack, I called it "my uber list of stuff"...no idea why it got that strange title but hey. and I activated international roaming on my mobile! yay.
